I'm about to get my MRO cert. from MROCC and then will be able to sign off/ officiate drug tets DOT etc.

Any of you Primary care types do this and if so how does one go about getting pt, per diem or moonlighting gigs as an MRO.

I hear MRO are very needed for employment DOT drug testing etc. Most are Occ Med, FP/IM and a few psychiatrists.

Any insight into the MRO world would be great...Thanks

I moonlighted (moonlit?) for a short time at an aluminum fabrication plant and would have taken the MRO exam had I stayed there, so I agree, look around for any local manufacturing plants.

Is there a list of MRO job ooenings.

What kind of money does it involve?

Are there physicians who make a career out of it?

thanks

It does not seem to pay much to work as an MRO from what I heard at the conference. If you are taking this test to gain more expertise in testifying as an expert witness, that would pay well.
