UCI, and UCSB offers MS and Ph D in pharmacology
you can goto graduateschool.com and do some research
Also, there is no master's degree in pharmacy ( or you mean pharmaseutical science?)
Pharmacy is a professonal degree Pharm D.

Hi friends, i am getting confused regarding MS programs naming
I want to knw Wat is Ms in pharmaceutical sciences???
I want to pursue ms in pharmacology/pharmaceutics but when in trying to find university regarding the same most of the university is shown for Pharmaceutical science ( IS this like MBA in which 1 year is general and core course is to be selected in the next year?)
i searched regarding Pharmaceutical science than according to wikipedia it shows pharmacology/pharmaceutics in sub division part of Phar Science
and also some university shows direct course for MS in pharmacology too

so do i have to apply for ms in pharmaceutical science 1st and than select pharmacology or ceutics?

any student who is pursuing MS rite now

I know someone who got MSPharm in Patient Safety and Risk Management from the University of Florida.

An MS in pharmacology and or toxicology is generally what you will obtain. These are degrees that prepare you for work in the industry or as research assistants. Generally, these are two year degrees and lots of schools have pharmacology programs, and less have toxicology. There are also graduate degrees in industrial pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, public health, medicinal chemistry, and more. None of these degrees will allow you to do clinical work, only clinical based research at best.

Hope that helps
