I am the Program Director of the MS in Physiology(MSP) Program at Loyola University Medical Center. This is the second year (2012-2013) of our 1 year non-thesis MS program. This program is specifically designed for students interested in preparing for and improving their credentials for medical or dental school. The course content is similar to our first year medical school curriculum, taught by medical school professors. In last year's class, 5 out of 6 students who applied to medical schools during the program were accepted. The remaining students who just graduated from the Program are now applying this fall for next year. Student who achieve a grade point average in our program of 3.5 or better and an MCAT score of 30 or better, will be eligible for a gauranteed interview at Stritch School of Medicine (see our website for further information). When applying online, be sure to click on "Cell and Molecular Physiology" on the drop down menu to apply to the MSP program at the medical center. The MSP website is at: www.stritch.luc.edu/physio/education/ms. If you have any questions about the program, please contact our Program Coordinator, Samantha Dumm ([email protected]) or 708-216-6305,
