MSAR -does any one have a date?

Hey Guys,

I was going to hold off on applying this year because my MCAT is expiring for many schools, but I've decided to just go ahead and apply every where that will accept my MCAT (can't hurt, right, and the expense of retaking is going to take away from funds better spent elsewhere). I just wanted to know if any one knew a precise date for when the 2009-2010 MSAR would be up on the AAMC website so I can begin planning strategies and where to apply.

I figure it will be sometime in April, but the sooner I get my hands on it, the better I can prepare. Hopefully, third time's a charm. 🙂

The 2009-2010 edition of the MSAR will be available to purchase between mid-April and the first of May. Please continue to check the Publications page of our website www.aamc.org for the release of the 2009-2010 MSAR.

I'm going to buy a new one just for prosperity sake... its kinda like a "yearbook" for my application cycle. hahaha. feeling good vibes for this year.

I think its great that we reapplicants all buy the MSAR every year. It's kind of ironic that we all spend 3-4 four years of our lives just being applicants. It's about the same time commitment as undergrad haha.

Your very welcome. I was interested in knowing myself. It would be nice if we could Pre-order the upcoming edition so we dont have to keep checking. I assume they are trying to reduce their stock of the soon-to-be old edition though.
