Hi all
I have my music degree and thinking of either studying Veterinary Nursing or Music Therapy. I have already attended a one day Music Therapy course in Dundee, organised by the British Society of Music Therapy. This was really enjoyable and i am rather swayed in my career choice now, as i enjoy my work at the vets! However, to the point now, I am wondering if any doctors, or other health professionals have ever referred anyone for music therapy and if it was beneficial to the client? (without going into detail - I adhere to the data protection act on a daily basis!!)
I would appreciate any thoughts from students. Music Therapy is offered to clients with learning difficulties, autism etc.
Many thanks
Linda
