So I understand MSU lets you know when they want your letters of recommendation. I kinda want them to have mine anyway, is it worth just asking them if I can send them or should I not bother. Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

The funny part about that unless I don't remember correctly their information said for everyone to mail in their LOR's. (I think it said this within the application) I had read all the material of course and didn't send them in. I was just wondering if they actually did care in the end. I just think my LOR's are important to my application 🙂

This is exactly the answer I was looking for. Thanks!

You can send them at any time, but they won't look at them until they decide to interview you.

Hope that helps!

I know that they have stated not to send letters unless requested on their website. I am not sure what sending letters will do to your application. I would be worried about upsetting an ad com for not following simple directions. I'm just saying this so that you be careful. Maybe it is best to contact them first, explain why your LORs are important to your app, and then send the letters if they seem to agree.

I have a question regarding LOR's. I was put on hold at MSU last month, then today then sent me an email requesting for my LOR. Is this an indication that I will recieve an interview? My LOR are strong.

Thanks
