tell me if i'm right. according to their instructions for evaluations, they will not simply accept a packet from my undergrad committee, but rather i have to give each evaluator the form they asked me to?

this is a problem because my evaluators are 250 miles away and nearly impossible to contact and rely on. (i had to bug them for months to get my recs in on time and they still handed them in late).

so if my committee sends a packet containing all the rec's, msucom will not accept it without the form?

I felt the same way...your right...and I decided that I have jumped through enough hoops. I withdrew. Whats the saying?...When being recruited, its the best your ever going to be treated? Its like I have nothing better to do with my time.

I think MSU COM's incoming class size is about 200 students...does anyone know how many out of state students/percentage??? 😀
I am a wisconsin resident. And I applied to 12 DO schools and I was considering adding MSUCOM but it also sounds like their secondary is a huge hassle...

also in the AACOMAS viewbook it says to get a secondary from them you only need a 18 on the mcat: 4-VR,5-PS,6-BS for their minimums...is this really true? I think the average is 24 or 25 right?

Out of staters are roughly 10-15% of the class and pay tuition of 50k+ a year.

ouch 50,000 bucks!

Yes it's true. Got a letter from them saying that that was the minimum since they're waiting for my August scores.

So they will wait to see your next set of scores until giving out the secondary, or will they deny right away?? I thought that they take more factors into account, so even if you didn't meet the requirements for MCAT, and are retaking, but had great grades, PS, and activities, they still will give the secondary and just wait until the next score comes in to proceed

Has anyone ever been accepted with an 18 or even 19 to this school? Seems like a long shot to me but then again what do I know.

nope they said that my application was on hold till the august scores came in and to call/e-mail if I decided not to do the exam anymore (because my scores are higher than that anyway).
