multiple acceptances and deposits-need help

If you accept a position at 2 different schools and send in a deposit, will the schools contact each other that you've accepted a position at their school? Can that school then kick you off their accepted students list?

I got accepted into 2 of my top schools and I'm just trying to by a month or 2 till I decide which one I want to go with and then notify them I won't be attending their institution? I don't want my secondary school reporting to my primary school that I don't want to go there! Help!

quit being so dramatic. They wont retract their admission. Worst case scenario is you will lose your deposit.

Send in two deposits, pull out of the one you don't want to go to. They keep your money, you go to your top choice, it's all gravy.

Here is a better idea. Calm the anxiety a bit and make your decision now. Save yourself the money. Chances are, your decision now will not be different than your decision in a few weeks. Some people have such a hard time making a decision and sticking with it.

I would probably just do some research on the guidelines for each school. I know several friends in the past that sent in a deposits to a few medical schools but they had a deadline I believe. I'm not sure if Pharmacy has a deadline or not but that would be something to research. If you are unsure, either send your deposit to both schools and make up your mind in the next few weeks or contact them to ask for an extension. Either way, you'll lose your deposit but it doesn't seem like its at the forefront of your mind or else you would have mentioned it in your post I assume?

The haters I'm speaking of are those who are being rude to this person whose just asking for advice. There are nicer ways of saying things. Calling those dramatic or responding rudely isn't how we should communicate our thoughts.

He told you to stop being so dramatic, that not suppose to be an insult, just cold advice. People on this forum expect people to sugarcoat everything. It's the internet, seriously. grow thicker skin. Some people are going to make comments you don't like. no need to call it hostility. respect the time of people who are here to actually answer your question. Just don't read his post if you don;t like it.

Also this is the most ridiculous post I have ever seen? Why in the world would people apply to more than 1 school if school contacted each other?

Ridiculous to you, sure. Not to me. Everyone comes on these forums to get advice and connect with others who may be facing the same ordeal. I'm am just looking for people who are in the same boat.

As to you, have you heard back from UGA yet about an interview? Every other post on that forum is from you it seems. I heard they have already sent out invites to the second batch of students they will be interviewing. Maybe you'll make in the third batch? There is still alot of time. good luck!

However, back to the OP.... of course schools talk to each other, they are out to get you. If you put deposits down at two places then both schools will contact each other. They will let the other know that you want to go to both schools and both will pull your offer because you are going to the other school. 😱😱😱

Not only that, they will contact your undergrad and you will be banned from there as well!!

You are pretty much screwed. 🙁
