i have a friend (i promise a real friend no me lol... i cling to my pass screenshots with my last breath LOL) who failed comlex level 1 twice and is looking for hard data on their likelihood of matching into various specialties. does that exist or is there a way to filter for it in charting outcomes/residency explorer/etc?

With all due respect, your friend doesn’t really have the kind of options the phrasing of this Q implies, barring a close personal connection or some sort of awesome LoR (which even then is more for mid competitive specialties, surgical subs and the like are almost completely out).

If your friend wants to practice medicine he needs to apply broadly targeting FM, peds, and community IM programs in bumf*ck rural areas.
