Hello SDN, I have the privilege of being accepted to multiple schools and still deciding on where I envision myself for the next four years. I have put the deposit down for one school but I recently got an acceptance from a school that was high on my list. Does it look bad if I put deposit down for both schools? And will other schools know? Thank you SDN, you have been very helpful throughout this journey.

It's fine, just make a decision and inform the schools of it. It's your money, but if you wait until the last minute it would be inconsiderate to the schools as well as to the applicants who vie for your spot. Congrats!

Med schools aren't omniscient.

No one will know you've paid a deposit.
No one knows if you've been accepted.
No one knows if you've even applied or interviewed at a place.
