Multiple Item Sets

USMLEworld step 3 seems to have a lot of multiple item sets that allow you to view the next question before answering the previous one, as well as go back and change your answer on the previous question. I just want to confirm that this is generally the case on the real test, as I recall from steps 1 and 2 only having multiple item sets that must be completed in order and that don't allow answer changing after moving onto the next question. Thanks for the clarification!

Yes, generally 1 per set, sometimes 2. It sucks when you advance and then find out you picked the wrong answer initially. 🙁 Alternatively, it rocks when you advance and find out you got the right answers!

To clarify a bit, I am getting LOTS (~12 or so) of multiple item / sequential item sets per 48 block set on UWorld. On all but one set I was allowed to "go back" after reading or answering the second question in the set. I'm wondering if this is how it is on the real test, because on a lot of sets it seems like the information in the second or third question is helpful in answering the first question.
