I have a question re: fafsa. My husband has been accepted to a few schools but hasn't made his final decision on which to attend. How do you handle where the financial aid is actually sent? He's concerned that there might be a short deadline after recieving the aid to decide where it is to be sent, and not having decided which school to attend at that point.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

The FAFSA is just a form for eligibility. You can list up to 6 schools on the FAFSA and they will receive your financail information. You can add other schools later.

To actually receive the money you will get another form sent by the school that you will be attending called the Master Promissory Note. That is the actual agreement to borrow the money. The money will not arrive until usually the first week or so of classes. This is to be sure what you propose does not happen (you actually need to be attending the school before they release the money).

how long should we wait before we put on new schools after the initial 6, or does it matter (can we do it immediately?) thanks!

I think you can do it after your FAFSA submitted. Just try it and you'll find out.
