I don't really know if this thread is already somewhere but where could I find some decent accomodations in Perth near the Uni and with other students?
I applied to Murdoch for february and I am starting to look just to see what the prices look like in Australia.

Hello! I have been accepted to Murdoch too!!! 🙂 my boyfriend and I were just thinking of doing thestudent village for the first semester because everything I have read people say it is easier to find housing once you are over there. BUT if you go to the website vsna.com and become a member (it free) there is a listing of a bunch of different housing sites for Australia. The girl that set up the website is a former vet student of Murdoch and is now working as a vet in Australia!

Thank you!! and yes my name does start with a K. I think I mentioned it before somewhere and its probably against the rules! OH well haha. I am from Wisconsin, born and raised 🙂 I love cows, but I don't think large animals are for me. As of right now I am interested in small animal, exotic, and zoo animals! I have been to Canada 3 times in my life! I love it, so beautiful! I really wish you the best on your acceptance!! I really hope to see you in Feb! I am turning 22 in a few months and have been away from home for almost 5 years and if I can find somewhere off campus I would be thrilled! I really don't want to live with 17 and 18 year olds who are away from home for the first time ! AH lol

Hi, my names Georgia and I'm from Perth. I'm a vet applicant for 2013 as well. I was just curious that you guys have your acceptances when over here we don't find out until Jan 17th? I'm a non-school leaver applicant so I'm not sure if that makes a difference?

You apply through a totally different admissions system to the international students. And international students need their acceptances earlier due to having to figure out loans and logistics of moving etc.

Sunshinevet is right! I applied as an international back in March and found out by april. I have been trying to get everything together but it is taking FOREVER! either way I will make it down under but its a much longer process for us. We also have 3 application deadlines, i dont know if you have to follow those dates too, but we can apply in March, September, or November all to start in Feb! Sooo excited! 😀 I hope to meet you soon Georgia and hopefully we will be classmates! Good luck!
