I am a middle of the road applicant from the midwest MD school thinking about doing an away rotation in Anesthesia at MUSC. Has anyone actually completed one? Is it worth applying to? If any has completed it, do you think/help you?
In general away rotations are useful to help you feel out a program and to improve your chances of matching there (unless you are a jerk or a train wreck clinically).
