So, while I love anesthesiology, it is still very new and unfamiliar to me. Take that with a new city in a different part of the country, leaving good friends behind and you can be on the receiving end of some stressful days. Over the last month I have found music to help me relax. I would like to know what those who frequent this forum listen to and offer a recommendation of my own. Check out Grouch and Eligh and their album G & E, a solid example of west coast, SF bay area, underground hip hop, of which I am a fan. Readily available on youtube. This can be expanded on in detail for those interested. Can't wait until I can afford an Iphone and set up my room in the morning with some music in the background.

You don't need to buy an iPhone. Pick up a used iPod off Craig's list. You could probably get one for $50.

not exactly West Coast (unless you count Toronto as um.. nah) but you might also like K-Os. similar lyric content, and indie vibe to his stuff.
