My lab partner just saved my butt by agreeing to let me borrow his car to drive to the city where I'm taking the MCAT tomorrow. I don't think he posts on here but maybe he will start. Anyway I feel a karmic obligation to shout it from the rooftops: Ben you are awesome! You saved my sorry arse from an embarrassing and demoralizing planning breakdown. I have so much bro-love for you right now!

That is all.

^^^Folks, I give you the first SDN reach around.^^^

Glad things worked out.

Your friend is a much better person than I will ever be. I would never even consider letting anyone drive my car, much less without me there and to (what I persume is) another city.

Glad things worked out though

I wouldn't trust a neurotic MCATer to take my car to the exam site. I'd be a much better pal and drive him myself.

Yep. That's just the kinda guy I am. Minus the car. FML.

I could be wrong but binko is a female. 😉

binko = female

I actually met binko in person today, but I'm not the cool guy (Ben). 4 weeks into spring quarter, binko and I unmasked each other in a small lab class we have together lol

Good luck binko!!! 🙂 🙂

Lucky you for having such a nice lab partner.

I broke my scapula (Yes, scapula and not clavicle) rendering me useless in the lab for 4 weeks but I wasn't fired, so I know the feeling. I actually decided to write this response despite how hard it is to type one-handed:laugh:

I would say I'd pick the person up for the MCAT, but then I sneak attack wouldn't and they would miss the test, making one less applicant this season and increasing my chances of admission by appx 1/1000000000000 %. Muahh ahh ahhh haaa :meanie:

Wow, that sounds immensely painful and debilitating.

The first thing I thought about was all the movements that said poster wouldn't be able to do at the SC and GH joints... stupid anatomy.

Ben seems like a nice guy.

Not a FBI agent or commanding general....

Just a plain ole pre-med. haha

That sounds like a true case a man-love right there....the strongest love there is.

Ingenious

binko and ben sitting in a tree

Wow this has become maybe the dumbest thread on SDN now.

shouldn't you be sitting for the test right now??? Did you get in done in 3 hours?

It started a bit early. I only took 5min of breaks, didn't sweat the writing sample too much, and finished in about 3 hrs.

Nice. So how do you think you did? At least a 42? 😛

So...why'd you retake if you have 11's across the board?

This was my first real MCAT. The one on my MDApps is just what I predicted based on my AAMC practice tests (I got 33s on almost every single one of them, never below a 10 in any area).
