Hi guys,
I have been studying Dat for about 2 months, but my practice test score ( Kaplan) come out SO BAD !!!!!!!!!!!
16 ( for both GC and OC ) 😱, 17 BIO , 18 MATH , 19 PAT.
I am going to take DAT this Fri. Now, I am so upset with myself. 🙁
IS there any chance I can get higher score on a real DAT ?
Does anyone who did badly ( like I do ) on the practice but did better ( about 19-20 ) on the real test ?😕
Thanks for any comments and advices.

Well you only have 2 days but I would say focus on really studying those subjects that you got low scores on. Scores tend to be pretty consistent with practice tests, i'm not sure how accurate kaplan is though. Good luck.

Dont ONLY look at the scores. Think about your efficiency while taking the test. A big part of doing well is being a very strategic test taker. So take the practice test in a positive manner and try to figure out the most efficient way to take the test. For me, I skipped all the way to Ochem on my DAT so that I could build my confidence. Next, I did Gen Chem, followed by bio. Doing this sent me into Bio with a ton of confidence and alot of time. It also made sure I had enough time on my stronger subjects, gen chem and ochem.

BE A SMART TEST TAKER!

Hope this helps..

I found that I scored lower on the Kaplan practice tests than I did on the real DAT. Some good advice was given by samirmerch, learn how YOU can take the test better. Knowing how to use your time wisely is very important.

Oh, I almost forgot

study harder.
there is a 50.389% chance that you may score higher on the DAT.

Another quality post by our resident genius!!!!

BodybldgDoc , thanks for even calculating my chance . I like it
