My grades.
Cumalitive GPA at CC:
3.5

CC (Semester)
Gen Chem I/II : B/B
Gen Bio I/II: B/C

UC Davis (Quarter)
OChem: c/c/c
Bis 101: b+
Physics 7: a-/b+/c+
Cumalitive GPA at UC Davis: 2.94

I'm going to be a senior. Working really hard to bring up my gpa with other classes I have left to take. As a transfer the transition took a toll on me mentally so my grades dropped which isn't the best excuse I know and ochem was really tough for me to understand. A year later and smarter I know how to get help earlier on in the quarter and can see myself going back to an a/b student. I have pretty good leadership and extra curricular activities. Interning at Rite Aid for a while now. I really want to go to cal northstate/uop/or touro university. C

If you want to go to CA schools, I think your chance is low as your GPAs are not so great and CA schools do not consider PCAT.

Take the PCAT and aim for a great score (~ 80-90 percentile) and apply to OOS schools !! CA schools are expensive anyway !! 🙂

That is a relatively low GPA. Your chances might be better at Northstate as I think their class average accepted is a little lower. I would take Oldstock's advice as well as try to apply as early as possible to those rolling admissions schools to improve your chances.

I'm from the same area as you, feel free to PM me if you want some more region-specific advice or want me to connect you with students from those schools.
