Hello everybody.
A couple days ago I took the the DAT, and lets just say I am less than pleased with my scores haha... here they are
Standard Score Percentile
Perceptual Ability 18 55.3
Quantitative Reasoning 16 65.3
Reading Comprehension 18 52.2
Biology 19 83.5
Gen Chem 20 86.0
Organic Chem 19 75.7
Total Science 19 82.8
Academic Average 18 72.5
I dunno why but I completely ran out of time on the QR...which helps to explain the 16.
My GPA is about a 3.5 and the same goes for my science GPA.
I am really looking at applying to Temple and some other state schools in Pa along with others along the East coast.
I was just wondering if you guys think I should re-take the DAT's or just apply and take the risk. Of course there is a risk with re-taking the DAT which is the possibility that I do worse on some of the sections. Also if I do decide to retake do I still apply early and just notify the schools that I am retaking.
But anyways, thanks in advance to all of the suggestions and help that you guys give me. SDN rocks.
