It started with the first patient, forgot to wash my hands, one other I could not finish the encounter because time was up, one other I could not finish the note, yes because time was up again. Was so nervous that I forgot some simple test names and wrote then Tuberkulose test instead.. The encounters itself I thought went ok, just forgot to do the percussion on my Cough patient and little thinks here and there. But what might hit me is the patNote, no space to write so I started to write also on the left side of the History part.....well will know hopefully before the end of this year....! What is your experience?

I don't feel to comfortable about my effort either, forgot lots of stuff. We'll see. This whole process is just so stupid and cumbersome it's not worth fuming over it when you can't really affect the outcome any more... Good luck, though. Statistically, you will pass... 🙂

From countless research on the CS, I have found that the check list for each case listed in the First AId is Key. As long as you asked all the appropriate questions (and I mean ALL) and examined the appropriate systems (also listed in first aid) you may be able to make up for any problems in the patient note. On the other hand, you can make up points in the patient note to counter errors in the gathering portion. This is the only area in the CS where two areas count for one score. The other 2 scores are how well you speak and compassion for the patient.....these are scored as one portion each and pretty simple.

I screwed up plenty on this exam and passed....didn't finish one encounter, forgot to ask several questions per case, fumbled around on some of the exam maneuvers, and left things out of my notes that i would remember later. Don't sweat it too much, it seems many others had a similar experience as yours. Hope it works out well for you.

Found out today by OASIS Trick that I passed. SO everyone there is hope, I really thought I screwed it up badly.
