Hey guys!

Just took the DAT:
TS: 20; AA: 20; PAT: 18.
QR: 21
RC: 19
Bio: 19
GChem: 22
OChem: 20

GPA: 3.9 (as a Bio major at an average 4-year public university).
A solid amount of shadowing, volunteering, and extracurricular activities.

So how are my chances? I know the PAT score is my weak point but do my other stats make up for it? What kind of schools would accept these?

Thanks for any/all help!

okay! What exactly do you mean by 'broadly' ...as in a range of less competitive and more competitive schools or just in general? If you don't mind, how high were your numbers for being accepted in Cornell!? Congrats!

Based on my past experience with those scores you have around a 30% chance of getting in. Have you thought about maybe becoming a doctor instead?

I'm just ragging on you, Cornell dental doesn't exist. I think he's going to lecom.

Wow smh...and here i was thinking that sdn was free of trollers...wrong, yet again. Well, if there's anyone out there still with some valuable insight, please share. I just wanna know if this is competitive for the more competitive schools? Or if this is gonna just get me into the average dental school

With your GPA, you're in very good shape. Your DAT scores are sufficient. Will they get you into Harvard? Probably not. Will they get you in somewhere? Likely. Look at doc toothaches spreadsheet or buy the AADSAS 2013 guide for school specific averages. Best of luck.

I would say you can get in if you interview well. Your scores definately put you in the mix but in order to put yourself over the top and get in to your school of choice you will have to interview well.
