Hey guys i toke my DAT late july and was wondering what do you guys think. I applied to about 20 schools and was hoping with my scores that it would be enough to get in some where. Should I retake the DAT and stick it out through this application cycle?(2010)
PA= 17 QR= 16 RC= 16 Bio= 20 GC= 17 OC= 21 TS= 19 AA= 18

I know i can do better on the reading section for sure but as far as organic i didnt expect to score that high. My fear about taking the test again is that i am scared that i might do worse on my sciences. let me know what you think!

I would retake if I were you but definitely apply now, since you never know.

You should apply and retake it by september

A) it depends on what their GPA is. B) taking the test in late july means they can't retake until late october.

Your low RC is hurting you the most, then PAT and then GC, in my opinion. QR adds to the punch i think, but i got the same score in that. it's going to be tough, but make it a point to start up the studying again if this is what you really want. good luck!

Hey thanks i was thinking the same. I have a Cum. gpa of 3.83 and science is 3.4. But yea it is becoming very apparent to me that the reading score is very vital for majority of schools. i got rejected from Indiana because of my reading score. They told me i need at least an 18 to be considered.
