My first interview--help!

I have been invited for an interview at Mercy College. This is my first interview. I'm not sure how to prepare for this. What I would like to know is what kinds of questions can I ask the interviewers. I've heard that we have to write an essay at the interview. Any idea what that's about?

congratulations on getting your first interview. The first thing that you must do is relax. Go to saapa.org and the aapa website to find out current info on the PA profession and some sample interview questions. Go over the sample questions and answer each one of them. The essay will probably be on a PA related topic. I had to write an essay at an interview about ways to recruit PAs to rural medicine. Also check out the site physicianassociate.com, it is a lot more active forum than this and they have plenty of interview suggestions. GOod luck
