Hey, I think I've done a pretty good job of researching my chances at these schools but I wanted to check and see if anybody can think of any reason I shouldn't apply to any of these schools.
A little about myself, I'm a Utah resident, white male, 26 years old, and attending UVU.

Midwestern University
University of Colorado
University of Kentucky
University of Louisville
Creighton University
UNLV
Ohio State University
Case school of Dental Medicine
University of Pennsylvania
Baylor
University of Southern Nevada
University of Washington
Marquette University

Yes. You're applying to a lot of the same schools as me with better stats, damn you!! 😀😀

What's your state of residence?

I'm pretty sure you'll get into most of these. 👍 Are you Mormon by chance?

With stats like those you have a great chance of landing interviews at all the schools you listed. Some of those schools have already started sending out interviews, especially Case. You probably won't get an interview from Case until after december, so if it's not one of your top choices, you could save some money and not apply there, that is if you want. But you never know much you may like about a school until after you interview there.

If you are a resident of a WICHE state I would apply to more WICHE schools. If you are lucky you'll get to pay in-state tuition if you decide to go to a public school that participates in WICHE. Baylor dental school is part of the UTHSC system so they hardly take anyone from OOS. About 10% of their class is OOS, but I'm sure they must have some ties to the state of Texas.

Yeah, Baylor is probably a long shot but they have accepted one person from my school in each of the last two cycles so I figure it is worth a shot. Is it standard for Utah residents getting into say Oregon or Washington to pay in state tuition? All I'm finding on the WICHE page is AK, AZ, HI, MT, NM, ND, and WY.

Yes, I am.

With your stats you should be good. Just don't be surprised if some state schools give you a little bit of a hard time simply cause you're OOS.
