My states. GPA = 3.3, MCAT = 37Q, no research but lots of volunteer and teaching experience


Here's my list: I'm a texas resident with no ties to any other state, so if you see a school in there that I shouldn't apply to please tell me. Also all I want to do is become an MD (or DO) and I don't care what school I go to, are there any good safety schools that I left out?

with those stats, you will most likely get into a texas school since you are a texas resident. however, are you really "in jail using the internet"? that might be a problem.

What do you mean SUNY at Buffalo (Downstate)
Buffalo and Downstate are separate schools. You would be better off applying to Buffalo because they have very little preference to in-staters while Downstate generally has a class with 80% NYers.

Personally, I would add NYMC, AMC, to that list.

Also, I'd probably take out Mizzou, Yale, and Vanderbilt.

I'd drop Duke. Chances are you wont get in and they have a sh1t ton of secondary essays. Unless for some reason you really love it
