Hi,
I finished my surgery rotation at an hospital that was not affiliated with my school. I completed this rotation last november and it was for a total of 3 months. I worked very hard during the course of it, stayed on call and basically was treated like crap (usually third year experience.)
Before I finished the rotation, I even spoke to the clinical coordinator at the hospital to make sure she had a copy of the evaluation that will go to the school. She told me at the time that everything was fine.
I checked to see if my school received the evaluation from the hospital in January and it was still not there. I contacted the clinical coordinator at the hospital and she informed me that she must have mistakenly "overlooked" my evaluation and will mail it into my school. I followed up a week later and she told me that she mailed it to my school.
However, my school still has not received it to this day. I have been speaking to my clinical advisor on the phone for nearly two months now and she keeps telling me to keep waiting. She emailed the lady at the hospital and sent her another evaluation with no reasonable reply. Last time I spoke to the clinical advisor all she told me was that she needed time to figure out things. I called the lady at the hospital again and she was very rude and told me that she mailed it to my school.
I don't know who's at fault here but it freaks me out that my evaluation is missing and that too from a rotation that I worked very hard in.
Has anyone experienced something like this? Any advice on what I should do next?
