Hi everyone,
Took the OAT September 3rd and wanted to share with you guys what helped me get these scores. Here they are:
QR - 370
RC - 400
Bio - 360
G-Chem - 400
Orgo - 400
Physics - 330
TS - 380
AA - 380
(Pic of scores attached as well)
I started studying in late May, so that was a total of 3 full months, ranging from 4 to 12 hours a day closer to the exam. I also had not taken Physics at all so I needed to basically learn the material. I used the OAT Destroyer, Math Destroyer and Physics Destroyer to learn the material. The practice questions in the books are spot-on! The real purpose of the books is in the explanations though. After going through the Destroyer books and some textbook materials I started doing practice exams from OAT Achiever. Don't worry if you see low scores! I scored 40-100 points higher in some sections on the real thing. The key is to use materials harder than the real thing. The road maps and questions in the Destroyer and the Math and Physics questions are SO great because they prepare you for the worst. I would suggest to do some OAT Achiever exams afterward, and then do both the ADA 2009 DAT and 2006 OAT for a more realistic idea of your scores and a last minute confidence boost. The DAT was actually more accurate for me. This study regimen is totally doable and I can't stress enough how useful the Destroyer books and Achiever were! Good luck everyone 🙂
