Hello all,
I see a lot of people putting their OAT experiences up and I found it beneficial to see how people prepared and how their actual OAT score compared to their practice tests. I wanted to write this in hopes that it could give people some sort of guidance in their preparation.
How I Studied: I didn't really feel confident in preparing a schedule on my own and following it especially with me working and it being summer. So, I decided to sign up for the Kaplan course. A lot of people ask to see if Kaplan is really worth it or not. To me I really do not feel like its worth 1400$. The five practice tests I do feel were great to work on timing and just to get you used to the real deal. But, you can get five free practices tests if you just do a little searching. They also do offer workshops and plenty of quizzes which were great. However, whatever material they said to cover before the next class I just went and watched the corresponding Chad Videos on the topic. So, if you have an doubts about your preparation you might as well sign up for the Kaplan course if you have the means to. If not just watch Chads Videos and do practice problems and plenty of practice tests (OAT Destroyer and Chads over and over again). I didn't score really well so you can take what I say with a grain of salt I guess haha.
