I don't get it...I must be ******ed. I've taken lots of practice tests (Kaplan, Topscore, ASCO sample), and none of them match my actual scores at all (took test last week).
Usually, as I've seen in the threads, people score higher then their practice tests, but keep their best sections the best, and worst their worst...you know? But for me, my best sections on the practices were my worst, and my worst became my best.
For example, on the ASCO sample ---> Actual
QR: 350 ---> 320 🙁
RC: 320 ---> 270 (ouch)
Bio: 320 --->330 😳
Gchem: 310 --->330 🙂
Ochem:310 --->350 😀
Phys: 300 --->350 😀
AA: 320 --->330 😳
TS: 310 --->350 😀
Notice the QR and RC going down, and the OChem and Physics going up? Did this happen to anyone else? It's not because I spent more time/less time studying each section b/c I took the ASCO the day before the actual.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...don't trust your general patterning? But then again, it might just be me.
Also, Kaplan, and Topscore are way harder then the actual. Let just say I NEVER got above a 300 AA for any of the tests; so besides the randomness, I guess I did decent in the end.
Oh and one last word of advice...don't get used to the Reading Comp. questions on the practice tests. Instead, prepare to answer whether statements are true, or not, and be able to interpret the passages (not just scan). There were way more inference questions, then I was used to. 🙁
