I had my interview today and am planning to post on interviewfeedback but thought I share a few thoughts. The interview was very laid back and I think it's still pretty early in their process since there were only 5 of us there today. Two interviews with M.D.'s both focused a lot on my childhood experiences and my motivaitons in medicine. Their state funding was cut by 10million recently so the interviewer told me that they will be accepting more out-of-state students this year (their usual class size is 96 and this year will be 101). The tuition and fees increased also, it will be 23,000 for in-state and i think 33,000 for out-of-state. Absolutely no ethical issues or current issues or managed care questions. If anyone have specific questions or what to know in more detail how the selection process works let me know, they explained to us in detail but i dont' think i'll waste space here to describe it.

That's interesting that when their budget is cut, they increase class size by bringing in more out-of-staters! Works for me! (At least I hope it will.) 😛

Thank you for the informative post - it sounds like you had a great interview. I am very interested in OHSU and I am out-of-stater. I am encouraged by the news that they will be accepting more of us non-oregonians (sp?).
