I just became a member of SDN, so I figured I would post my scores. Please feel free to comment and/or ask questions...

I took my DAT at the end of August, after my sophomore year, after I completed the KAPLAN course. Apparently the DAT Destroyer is the thing to do these days... maybe it would have helped me boost my science scores... oh well, I don't want to do it again.

pretty good...nice scores. I wouldn't retake it if I were you either.

Good job. What was your strategy for RC?

nice job. those are some competitive scores. now work on the other parts of your application and you'll be good to go.

those scores will get you in...actually, very similar to my scores (couple years back)...i also took it only once, and got it immediately (1st day they began accepting). The fact your RC is that high will get u in to places...my interviewer outright told me that...lol. Congrats and good luck with applying.

My RC strategy: I scanned through the passage as quickly as possible, and I wrote a key word or two on my scrap paper for each paragraph of the passage. I then used the key words to help direct me to the appropriate paragraphs to answer the questions.

Nice strategy and thank you for your response, also do you know if we can use the FIND feature on the actual DAT?( on the computerized MCAT we can).

I'm pretty sure the find feature is not available on the DAT.
