wat do you think my chances are of getting an interview at ONE of these schools?

p.s.- about interviews, how do people manage to travel to multiple interviews when school is in session when most interview invitations are sent out? like when u have to fly to an interview do u miss all of your classes that day and come back the same day? this is prolly a stupid question im jus curious.

I am fortunate enough right now to have 2 of my 4 interviews thus far on Fridays since I don't have class then. The other ones are on Mondays and I will be missing class all day and coming back that night. I know this is not possible for all interviews though. I have an interview at Nova on a Friday and the last flight out for me is at 5:00 and they said it would be cutting it close to book that flight in case I'm one of the last ones done. So I will be leaving the next morning. It just depends I guess. Best advice I can give is book things as soon as you can.

I m also from Davis. It seems like that u already applied to schools, but I m still in process. I would try to have interviews on Friday, so that u have weekand to come back n catch on ur studies. Just talk to the instructors beforehand at Davis and they will be willing to help u as much as they can.....but for CA schools, I think that u can go and come back on the same day..........good luck!

How can u guys apply to harward. I know that it has pretige and #1 univ, but doesn't it has high requirements for DAT as well as GPA...gdluck...

harward = chimera of harvard and howard

I dunno man, Harvard typically looks more towards GPA and AA like the other Ivys. NYU you should be able to get an interview if you refer to the stats on Predents.com. I would retake the DAT if you could... 18/18/17 is borderline as people I've interviewed with seem to have your GPA with 19+ on the DAT.

I was actually going to say that Harward was a mosaic, "genetically" speaking that is. But upon closer inspection, I would have to say that you are right. It is a chimera.

And, I am a bio-nerd... (but don't tell Bionerd that).

(complete side not...discovery channel had a thing on chimera individuals. they had two sets of DNA in their cells! Why is there no autoimmune problems with these people?? i would think they would have different cell surface receptors)

I'm from Davis too! Don't bother applying to Case Western, the're pretty much full with 3000+ apps and are now booked till March with interviews. The're flatout rejecting ppl with 3.5+ GPAs and 20s+ on DATs now. And Harvard, i wouldn't even bother, they just take your money and run.

As for me, I submitted my app back in June and took my DAT in Aug. Already sent in my secondaries weeks ago. Still no interviews. Playing the waiting game now Goodluck fellow Aggies!!
