Is it true that spending long hours in front of the TV or computer monitor decreases your visual acuity? Is this just a myth and not based on any scientific facts? 😕

Close-work allegedly causes myopia over time -- college students often graduate needing new glasses -- but I'm not sure that anyone knows for certain that it is pure cause-and-effect relationship.
