Looking into post-bacc programs such as Bryn Mawr, Scripps, Goucher, JHU, etc for not next year but the year after. How do students have enough time to do research (or any other related activities) during classes? Is this what their Glide Year is geared towards? What about for those who want to link to a certain med school...do they just apply with minimal experience? Regarding research specifically, I have no science or clinical research, only one summer of historical archival research (was a History major) and a year of Health Policy-type social psychology research. How do these students get opportunities doing bench work or whatever in time to apply to med schools?
There’s also clinical research and public health related research that aren’t as science intensive as bench work.
