I hear the compounding on the Naplex is ridiculous. I currently have the 2017 RxPrep book but have been told that it's nowhere near sufficient. I'm wondering what the better resources are. Is the 2018 version any more helpful? Am I going to have to review Remington's, Trissel's, and USP 795/797? That seems excessive.

Thanks in advance.

I took my naplex 3 weeks ago using the 2017 rxprep book. At least a quarter of my exam felt like it was on compounding which I completely bombed although I still passed the naplex with a decent margin. I'd say at the very least memorize what all the different ingredients are used for (oxidizing agent vs surfactant etc etc)

I took the NAPLEX a year ago. I dont remember many about compounding based on the questions I received.
