After you pass the NAPLEX and CPJE, what's the next step???

Do you have to submit payment to receive your license?

Can you start working right after you pass the CPJE?

What's the very next step?

I thought the next step was just waiting, My Utah board didn't authorize me to test until I had submitted a completed application. I just found out last night that I am now licensed - awesome 10th Anniversary gift by the way. I took the NAPLEX on 10/12 and Utah MPJE on 10/15. Check with the California BOP website or call them in the morning.

Maybe let me rephrase.

I'm assuming that after taking the CPJE, your results should first post to the board's website... or you get a letter in the mail saying you passed.

At this point, can you notify your employer and start working as a pharmacist?

Or, do you have to send in another app for something, pay more money, and wait even longer?

What's the next step after passing both exams?????

this is what happens after you have passed the naplex and cpje: the bop will send you an application to fill out. Once the application has been filled out and the fee has been received (usually takes a week after you have mailed it), your name will be posted on the bop website. That is when you are registered rph and can work as a pharmacist.

I guess you haven't got your result yet, otherwise you wouldn't need to ask this question. Once you pass the CPJE, the board will send you a "pass" notice along with a form to request your license (often known as "the green form"). You will then fill out that green form and send it to the board along with your payment. It usually takes a week for them to process your form/payment and post your license number on the website. At that point, you may begin practice as a pharmacist. The physical license will be sent to you a couple weeks after that.

Don't forget to ask for "RETRO-Pay" 😀 That's what I called it 😛

I took my cpje exam on July 14 2009 but the board didn't send me a letter till the "Quality Control" period 3 months later. So on October 05 2009, I got the letter and start getting my pharmacist salary since the post date of that letter... but I complained to my boss and she went back paying me the differences from July 01 2009 (including overtimes and holiday hours 2.5 rates for July 04 and Sept's Labor Day... SWEET)

Oh, I hope you still keep all your pay stubs and log in your hours regularly like I did. Congrats!

Who do you work for????

All companies do this???

This is already an old thread but I would just like to know if the licensure fee should be in the form of money order or a personal check will do? Thanks.
