I figured I would ask in the DO forum if it is different from MD. I only saw posts regarding narrative evaluations in place of grades. But in my circumstance, UC Santa Cruz used to do only evaluations but now does both evaluations and grades. The evaluation is optional for professors but about half fill them out. Do we have to send the evaluations to AAMC? My campus has an option of sending transcripts with or without narrative evaluations. Should I be sending them both? (I'd rather not since some courses aren't very good evaluations)

A fair number of UCSC (Go Slugs!) grads come our way, and I've never, ever seen an narrative grade.
