hey guys,

My brother is in pre-dentistry, and I'm pre-pharm, he is now in the process of narrowing down the dental schools he wants to apply to, and obviously there are so many factors to consider. To narrow down phramacy schools, I used this website...
check it out:
http://www.aacp.org/issi/membership/survey_psar.asp?CID=104&TrackID=&TrackID&TrackID=

My question is, is there a similar website like that one, but for Dental Schools, where you search and based on what u limit it to it the search gives u the results? I've looked all over the web for such a website but had no luck....please help me help my brother out!! Thanks guys!

I can't think of a website that would work like the one you have, but there are some websites that provide most of that information. Here is one that helped me a lot last year.

thanx man,

being pre-pharm I had a few more questions to ask for my brother (excuse my lack of knowledge)...

1) just outta curiousity, are there any dental schools that don't require DAT and/or don't require an interview for admissions?

2) I heard that New York University is not a good school to apply to for dentistry, I hear that they purposefully accept a lot of students with lower qualifications, assuming they don't do as well, and then they make significant cuts in the first-year class of students, basically a "trap" to make $$. Has anybody else heard of such a thing? If it is true (which I personally don't believe to be so) are there otehr schools which participate in a similar type of "scam"?? ( other than Hawii)

3) anybody else know of any additional websites (see 1st post above)

don't mean to make this long, I'm tryin to look out for my brother who is kinda stressin out right now! any imput is greatly appreciated 🙂

ok everybody, don't give me ur advice all at once now... 🙄

there aren't that many dental schools to narrow down in the first place. all it takes is finding a list (i used a barron's book) and checking off schools that don't fit his preference.

Its weird how your brother isn't doing this himself, and that I remember seeing a post with you talking about rewriting the mcat. Now you want to be pharmacist?
