national dentist want to practice dental hygiene in Texas

what are the steps I should take to be a dental hygienest in Texas, I gave my NBDE part 1 and 2, should I make the NBDHE , and what about this exam , is there any practical session, and what are the materials required ........is it tough,,and what is the process of its registration, does it take time to be eligible for it......any help will be appreciated....Thanks

I live in Texas and had looked into dental hygiene. From the information I got, you have to go to hygiene school. I think only Florida allows you to be a hygienist through exams. You can call the Texas State board and they will give you more information
