Any basketball fans here? What are your thoughts?

Memphis is up 2-1 on SA, as many people predicted. They just don't have an answer for Gasol and Randolph. Tony Allen is playing great defense...matter of fact, the whole team is playing great defense.

Jamal Crawford's 30 foot shot yesterday....what a horrible shot....but hey it went it. I don't understand how ATL is winning.

Celtics 3-0 vs. New York. Judging by the 1st game, I thought NY had a shot for maybe 7 games, but wow....what happened yesterday? Pierce and Allen just couldn't miss a three.

Every bulls vs. pacers game have been close, and DRose has been pretty horrible in terms of shooting %. He's still carrying the team though. I don't get how the Pacers are playing such great defense. Maybe DRose will have an easier time next round.

All I have to say is that the heat-celtics semi is going to ------- epic. I'm pretty worried about Drose's ankle. Without him, the Bulls would most likely be down in the series. This is by far the best NBA season ever.

My aunt and uncle have great seats and are big Memphis fans, so I'm pulling for them!

As a Knicks fan I just want us to be put out of our misery tomorrow night...

Game 3 was painful to watch. Once Billups went down it was always going to be difficult to get wins against the celtics, but it wouldnt have made that much of a difference if they didnt gift the first two games away.

Playoffs have been great so far though

Did anybody see Brandon Roy's 4th quarter against the Mavs? Dude just went HAM. He scored what..18 points, dished some assists, and had a 4 point play. If it wasn't was his knees, he'd be the clutchest player in the NBA right now, although you can make a case for Kobe. He's only 26, but he only has a few years left...what a shame.

Yea. Brandon Roy was sickkkk last night. Who knows, Grant Hill had some really debilitating injuries in his prime but is still in the show, could be the same for BRoy....On second thought, maybe not. The blazers are cursed.

WTH! This is pharmacy forum, not a basketball game forum.

You have no other interests other than pharmacy? Why can't pharmacists and students talk about the NBA playoffs on here? Instead of wasting your time, if you don't have anything to add about basketball, just click on another thread. Pretty simple right?

Boston Vs New York - Series MVP - The referees.

Lol, I think not having Chauncey also had something to do with that sweep. Melo's a bum, I think Denver got the better deal.

C'mon, the real scapegoat here is D'Antoni. Knicks had one of the best offenses in the league and couldn't clamp down on defense when it mattered. Tony Douglas was supposed to be one of the better defenders on our team and absolutely got schooled by Rondo.

I have other interests too, but put it in a pharmacy forum is not appropriate. What does NBA have to do with pharmacy or drugs? Posting anything but pharmacy-related questions makes pharmacy forum become unprofessionally.

You sound like a professor of mine, right down to the interesting grammar choices.

5minutes, you are definitely in the "top 10" of most annoying posters on this forum. Seriously, if you have nothing to contribute to this thread, leave.

I agree about the knicks. You guys think the Spurs are going to be bounced by Z-bo and Co?

Please refer to topic "my little rant." Thats all.

Okay, Mr. Forum Police over here. You do know that on the description of the forum, it says for "PharmD students and practitioners" right? It does NOT say anything about posting STRICTLY ONLY on pharmacy topics.

BTW, if you want to be "professional", why don't you learn a little more about proper grammar usage? "Makes pharmacy forum become unprofessionally"? Right. This is really "professional" right here.

Just watched game 4 magic vs hawks earlier today. All I can say is I dont want the magic season to end yet and not like this... already 3-1 with ATL up

Yea dude. Trading Rashard Lewis was a HUGE mistake. I'm actually glad ATL is winning though. As a Bulls fan, I'd rather face the Hawks than the Magic any day of the week.

See I don't think it was trading Rashard Lewis that did it. He was getting slow, and wasn't really all that effective on his shots. It's just that the 3 players they got back, Arenas, Turkolu (sp?), and Richardson all haven't lived up to expectations. Gortat was a beast in the paint when DH was on the bench, so that could have been a factor as well. I don't know, I would have expected a little more from trading VC's contract and Gortat.

Gortat was a really good backup center. It was a bad idea to let him go. As for VC and rashard, not too sure. I guess with that team they got us decently far in the playoffs. During the start of this season, however, their performance (VC and shard) were kinda lackluster. The new three werent as bad but I expected a bit more. Jrich is still a hell of a three point shooter though. Too bad he sat out the last game after that fight. Magic only made two 3-pointers out of 22 Sunday and we lost that game by 3 points (88-85)!! Shame.

Aside from the 3-1 magic ATL series, it sucks that SPURS (best record during the regular season) is also getting beat by the grizzies 3-1 also 🙂

Being from orlando, I will be rooting for magics tonight to stay alive!

Bulls gonna close the lid on the pacers tonight....

Eh, I'd much rather have Rashard than Gilly any day of the week these days. I think this is the end of the road for the Magic. They need to fire Stan Van, trade DHow for Bynum and picks, and build around Bynum (a pretty unsurmountable task since Bynum can't seem to stay healthy). I wouldn't expect the Magic to be relevant for another five more years if all that actually goes down. Plain and simple, the current Magic are poorly built; they don't have the right pieces. The Spurs are in the same boat except their rate limiting step is age. They're done too, Memphis is just too fast.

The Bulls BETTER win today. They're far superior than the Pacers. I've been really surprised how close the series has been. Hopefully they don't blow it. Anyone catch the late OKC game yest? I honestly thought Denver was going to blow it..WTF is Russell Westbrook doing shooting 3's. Ever heard of Kevin Durant? 🙄

True, magic do have some elements that they need to work out. I don't predict them winning/getting to the champs like they did previously or making it to the eastern champ this year... but I hope they don't get knocked out in the first round at least!!

well with the sweep, I believe the Celts have been the team of the post season so far. And those oldies really needed that 1 week or so break to re-energize...The next round against Miami should be really interesting
