I have a question.

The previous question correct answer was: "extract all teeth".

Then the next question was: "what will be the treatment for this patient? I put "max/mand total dentures". And it was wrong! The correct answer was a max total and a mand fixed partial. My problems are: 1. The "solution" for this pt was extraction of ALL max/mand. 2. The mandibular molars left were anterior (from canine to lateral) that EVEN if i don't extract the mandibular molars it will be contraindicated because of the combination syndrome. Im confused. If somebody knows please let me know, my test is very soon ! Thank you!

I may be wrong, but it sounds like there is some sort of misunderstanding or error here. Even if I had no background or knowledge in dentistry, I have enough sense in me to say that RPD would not be an option if we extracted all teeth. My suggestion for you is.. communicate with whoever gave you these questions and confirm there has not been some sort of misprint or error first. On a different note, I agree with you in that complete upper denture and lower RPD with anterior natural teeth would be a poor choice for tx plan.
