nbme 11 thyroid/endocrine question

a 45 year old woman comes to a physician coz f a 3 month history of decreased energy and impaired concentration.she had tingling in both hands and constipation and 2 kg weight gain over past 2 months.she appears apethetic.her skin has a doughy consistency and her hair is coarse.tapping the median nerve over the volar surface of the wrist elicts parasthesia in d index and middle fingers.the relaxation phase of the muscle stretch reflexes is slowed.which f the foll is most likely diagnosis?
1 addison diswease
2 hypoparathyroidism
3 hypothyroidism
4 hyperparathyroidism
5 hypopiturism


I UNDERSTAND ITS HYPOTHYROIDISM BUT WHY IS IT NOT HYPOPARATHYROIDISM???? ISN'T THAT THE TROUSSEAU SIGN? AND WONT HYPOCALCEMIA CAUSE PARESTHESIAS??
 
it has all the syxs of hypoTH. If it's hypoPTH, you will see signs of hypoCa syxs (muscle problems).. so the pt may have had thyroid surgery in the past. Weight gain, skin presentation, constipation, and poor reflex are pointing to hypoTH.
