This question was not provided w/ an answer. I ended up choosing D

I was thinking she has TTP as the low haptoglobin indicates intravascular hemolysis, platelets are being destroyed but at the same time there is increased platelet aggredation, as RBCs flow through thrombosed vessels, they are sheared and form schistocytes. The increased LDH level also support Dx of TTP.

However I am not entirely sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I put D and got it right.

D is correct. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the OP is using a bootlegged, offline version of the exam and the answer key provided did not give that answer.
Yes, bootlegged version provides most of the answers, otherwise how would you know if you got it right?

I remember hating this question. Mainly because I had never heard of Cabot Rings or Pappenheimer or whatever bodies and thought I was missing something. But yeah, pretty sure it's D.

Yes, of course, but the above poster seemed confused about why there was a question whether it was D or not. My point was simply to say that you were clearly using a bootlegged copy of NBME 7, instead of the official, online version that grades the exam for you, and that is why you did not know the answer for sure.

Am I missing something here? Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think the official online version tells you which questions you got wrong, it merely provides you w/ a scaled score & a breakdown of your performance in different disciplines.

If you pay for expanded feedback (extra $10), it tells you which ones you got wrong.

anyone think this one was way easier than the others? I got a 230 on 13 and a 252 on 7 two weeks later, and im not sure if I should believe the 2nd score. Also, a study buddy of mine got a 224 on 13 and a 250 on 7 two weeks later.
