Dear all,

I apologise if some of the questions might sound idiotic but I don't know who else to ask in my side of the world since noone knows what NBMEs are.

1) Am I supposed to follow this link (https://nsas.nbme.org/nsasweb/servlet/mesa_main), create a login and buy the desired NBME
2) I have read on this forum that the available ones are 7, 11,12, 13 and doing them in order might be the best thing. I have 1 month and half to go till exam, so please advice any changes in order.
3) Once completed, how do I go through the questions? will the system give me the option?
4) Should I go for self- or standard-paced?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry, one more thing that I forgot to say: I might have time just to do 2 or 3 NBMEs.

Can you go back and review the questions you have done? And will NBME tell you which ones you have answerered incorrectly?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah, that's the link.

I think 6 might still be available too but not sure.

I only did 11 and 12. Found 12 harder. Don't know about which order. 7 and 11 are supposedly the better indicators but not sure because I haven't taken the test yet.

If you choose the extended feedback option, you will be able to ONLY see the questions you got wrong. You do get a more detailed breakdown of how many questions you got wrong per subject/system with extended feedback as well.

I think go for standard-paced so as to better simulate the real thing. There are NBME discussions here which are really useful after doing the form to increase your understanding.
