Hi all
I have a couple questions for those who have taken the Behavioral Science board exam.
1) To what degree do you need to be on top of the pharma aspect of it?
Is it sufficient to know the general types of drugs youd give to a condition group (eg: anxiety related conditions - benzos, buspirone, B blockers), or should I be leading the individual drugs for individual conditions?
2) Related to above - how much do I need to know about the mechanisms of these drugs?
3) I note that the official NBME statement is that 50%+ of the test is on "Central and peripheral nervous systems". Could anyone thats taken the exam illustrate what kind of knowledge they are looking for here?
Many thanks for any responses in advance
