I just finished taking NBME Exam 2 for CK and got a 217. I'm happy with that score but it still is like a 10+ drop from my Step 1 score. I'm not finished studying yet, but I want to at least match my Step 1 score. How indicative are these exams of actual performance? What does it mean if you drop a little from Step1 to Step 2?

I was wondering about this myself. The ones for Step 1 seemed to be good indicators.

First I think it depends on the version of the NBME tests you take. Form 1 seems to be easier than the others, that is what I have gathered from previous posts and my experiance. Form 1 at one week before underestimated my score by at least 10 points. Went up 23 points from Form 2 two weeks before the exam. So.. in summary i think that NBME Step 2 exams underestimate scores more than the step 1 versions. Thats my experiance at least, NMBE for Step 1 was within 5 points.

I'm hoping Form 2 underestimates the scores. I just took it today and scored a couple points higher than my step 1 score. If I could do 10 points better on step 2 compared to step 1, I would be thrilled. Though I'm not sure I'll submit the scores, we'll see.

Should I even bother doing any other form? My test is one week away and I was going to try and finish UW by then.

Definitely focus on getting through as many UW world questions as you can, but make sure you really focus on carefully reviewing the questions and explanations. Guide your studying based on your lowest scores on the NBME exam you took. Like I said, I took form 1, focused on the areas I was weakest in for 7 days, and took form 2. My score went up a lot between the two.

I would finish UW - AND do as many of the questions I missed again that I possibly could. NBME won't teach you anything; UW will.
