First Aid suggests that we get a hold of NBME's retired questions. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of them since they're out of print?

I am sure you know this already, but you can get 100-150 questions off of the usmle website. These are the only retired questions I have ever found (unless you count shelf exams which, I believe, only your school can get a hold of).

Good luck.

There's a guy selling them on the internet. I think I paid 20 dollars for them. I can't remember the address but if you do a search I'm sure you can find them.

I don't think they're all that useful, though. They are very easy and the few hard ones seem outdated. A lot of the questions are an oldfashioned kind where you have to pick a combination of choices, which is annoying cuz the real deal only has "best answer" type questions.

Good luck.

Don't pay for these. You can get them free at lots of places like Doctapeppa's site and others. Bookhouse also has some free stuff, but some of them cost money too. It's a shame that people are making a profit off of these files which are available for free. If anyone else finds any good free sites, let us know and we'll help pass the word around. Best of luck on your exams!
