NBME score before studying?

For those of you who took NBME exams early (say before starting to study or half-way through), what did your scores look like. I'm contemplating taking one at the midway point (studied for 2 weeks, have 3 weeks left), but I'm not sure if it's even reasonable for me to expect to pass it. Is there any valuable info in taking one this early?

No one has any opinions on NBME exams as a half-way test? I'm just wondering if I should expect to pass at this point or if I take one I'm just setting myself up to freak myself out (especially since correct answers aren't provided).

I'll let you know on Friday. I am going to take a test prior to starting my big push of studying for Step I. I plan to take all the NBMEs before I sit for the real thing.

Cute, have you checked the Official 2006 USMLE thread? I remember seeing many people post their scores from the NBME's, along with when they took them in their prep.
