I just took the NBME exam 1 and had some questions about their questions:
In the tutorial, the guy with orchitis how do you know if that is chlamydia or gonorrhea?
For the infant picture with that big thing on his head-- WTF is that?? A myelomeningocele??
What was going on with that teenager with the crusty stuff all over his nose? Was that eczema? What was the diagnosis?
For the old lady with postural hypotension that was caused by amitriptyline, right?
How is cleft lip inherited??
How do you approach the vertebral angiogram question?
Is there any resource where you can review the NBME shelf exam questions? I can't seem to be able to review my answers. Has someone posted a thorough Kaplan-like discussion here or somewhere else?
