I thought the NMBME step 2 questions were much easier than the real thing.
The format is identical to the actual test.

the nbme site gives nothing but the assesment for step 1 , there's nothing yet posted for step 2 so why we even talking about it as it refers for step 2?
i still don't understand why ppl r not correlating their scores based on the cd sent by ecfmg to the real step 2 exam?....no one has anything to say on this?

The questions on the Step II CD are very similar to the real thing but they are significantly easier and somewhat shorter. The best example I found was the Kaplan Step II CD with a complete exam on it, Q-bank is great too but the questions are shorter. I thought the worst part of Step II was the question length. Get ready some of them are ridiculous, it was like sitting down and taking four shelf exams in a row.
lol, finally someone answers.....thanks a lot.......i agree with u , it is short and today when i finally did the kaplan simulated cd for step 2 i ended up with a 70 %on the dot.........
the questions were very long and with my exam approaching on monday i thought it was ABOUT time i tried it out.......now time to check out the explanations..
thanks and later........

i had no vent questions...like people say there are...i guess i lucked out....
i thought the questions very reasonable...nothing too crazy...just felt long...i used qbank, nms and mock step 2 for questions...and pretest step 2 clin vignettes a little...
just be prepared that its draining...by the end i was forgetting stuff i knew cold 🙂 timing was not too bad...46 questions each section...
good luck folks...
